Job Overview:

The Vice President of Marketing leads the marketing department and plays a key role in developing and executing a comprehensive marketing plan aligned with the company's business objectives. This individual will manage a diverse team, optimize marketing operations, and ensure effective collaboration across departments such as sales, product development, and customer support.

Duties/ Responsibilities:

Develop and Execute Marketing Strategy:

  • Create and implement a cohesive marketing strategy to increase brand awareness, market share, and customer loyalty.
  • Oversee marketing campaigns, product launches, promotions, and brand messaging across all channels (digital, social media, content, PR, etc.).
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, and growth opportunities.
  • Ensure all marketing activities are consistent with the company’s brand positioning and objectives.

Brand Management:

  • Develop and maintain the company's brand image, ensuring consistent messaging and visual identity across all marketing materials and touchpoints.
  • Drive brand positioning and messaging that resonates with target audiences and differentiates the company from competitors.

Digital Marketing and Lead Generation:

  • Oversee the company’s digital marketing efforts, including SEO, SEM, PPC, email marketing, and social media.
  • Lead efforts to generate qualified leads for the sales team, leveraging a data-driven approach to optimize marketing spend and customer acquisition costs (CAC).
  • Stay current with digital marketing trends and technologies to ensure the company remains competitive.

Budgeting and Financial Management:

  • Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
  • Measure the ROI of marketing campaigns and initiatives, using data and analytics to inform decisions and optimize performance.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to develop financial forecasts and ensure alignment with overall business goals.

Collaboration with Other Departments:

  • Work closely with product, sales, and customer support teams to ensure marketing strategies align with business objectives and customer needs.
  • Support product development by providing customer insights and market trends.
  • Partner with the sales team to create and execute go-to-market strategies for new products and services.

Public Relations and Communications:

  • Oversee the company’s PR and media relations strategy, ensuring positive media coverage and crisis communication.
  • Serve as the primary spokesperson for marketing-related initiatives when necessary.
  • Develop internal communications that promote company values and culture.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience developing and executing successful marketing strategies.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, brand management, and lead generation.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage large marketing teams.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Data-driven mindset with proficiency in marketing analytics and reporting tools.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Knowledge of the latest marketing technologies and tools.
  • Experience marketing in a healthcare environment.
