Job Summary: Hoskinson Health & Wellness Clinic is a newly founded team-based, physician-led, comprehensive health and wellness clinic in the beautiful area of Gillette, Wyoming. Our company was created to provide prospective healthcare resources to the community and meet the needs of our patient base. To do this effectively, we encourage spending more time with patients through a lower daily patient volume. In addition, we are structured to provide a large variety of additional services to patients in-house, including a compounding pharmacy, lab, mental health and social support, exercise and nutrition support, and general primary care. HH&WC offers top-tier technology resources to help achieve these goals and is open to additional resource recommendations pertaining to your specialist field.
The Clinical Functional Medicine Doctor will provide holistic care by integrating conventional medical science with functional medicine principles. They will assess and treat chronic illnesses, identify the underlying causes of disease, and create personalized health plans. The goal is to optimize patient health through a comprehensive approach that incorporates nutrition, lifestyle modification, and advanced testing methods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Assessment and Diagnosis:
- Conduct thorough patient consultations, including comprehensive history taking and detailed physical exams.
- Order and interpret advanced laboratory tests, including genomics, microbiome analysis, nutritional deficiencies, hormone levels, and toxin exposure.
- Identify root causes of chronic health issues such as autoimmune diseases, hormonal imbalances, digestive disorders, and metabolic dysfunctions.
- Use evidence-based methods to diagnose conditions based on functional medicine principles.
- Treatment Planning and Implementation:
- Develop individualized, comprehensive treatment plans aimed at correcting imbalances and optimizing health.
- Recommend nutritional interventions, supplements, lifestyle modifications, detoxification programs, and stress management techniques.
- Prescribe medications when appropriate and integrate natural therapies to reduce reliance on pharmaceuticals.
- Utilize integrative approaches such as acupuncture, herbal medicine, or bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT) when indicated.
- Patient Education and Empowerment:
- Educate patients on the connection between diet, lifestyle, and overall health.
- Provide guidance on proper nutrition, exercise, sleep, stress management, and environmental exposures.
- Work closely with patients to foster self-management and long-term sustainable health practices.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including nutritionists, physical therapists, exercise physiologists, mental health professionals, and other integrative medicine practitioners.
- Maintain clear and open communication with patients and their families to ensure understanding of treatment plans and progress.
- Provide ongoing support, follow-up consultations, and adjustments to care plans as necessary.
- Continuous Learning and Development:
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in functional medicine, integrative therapies, and clinical research.
- Participate in professional development activities, such as attending conferences and completing continuing medical education (CME) credits related to functional medicine.
- Contribute to research, publications, or educational programs to advance the field of functional medicine.
- Compliance and Documentation:
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient visits, treatment plans, and outcomes in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Adhere to legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance with all applicable medical regulations.
Qualifications:
- Education: Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.
- Licensure: Must be board-certified or eligible for board certification and hold an active medical license.
- Training: Formal training in functional medicine through an accredited residency program.
- Experience: Prior experience in clinical practice, especially in integrative or functional medicine, is highly desirable.
- Skills: Strong diagnostic skills, excellent patient communication, proficiency in advanced testing modalities, and ability to create personalized care plans.

Benefits and Compensation:
- Salary: HH&WC offers a highly competitive, negotiated base salary with additional incentive opportunities in the fields of hyperbaric medicine, regenerative research, and more.
- Sign-On Bonus: $50,000
- Relocation and Housing Assistance: $30,000
- Health Insurance: Employer-sponsored health insurance, including a low-deductible health plan through Cigna, Vision, and Dental. Premiums paid by the company, $250 ind or $500 family deductible, and low out of pocket!

- Retirement: 8% matched 401(k).
- PTO & leave: 6 weeks of PTO, 6 paid holidays, 7 days sick
- Continuing or Additional Education: $5,000/ 5 Days
- Schedule: Monday- Friday 8:00am- 5:00pm
- Malpractice: Employer paid malpractice coverage ($1,000,000 / $3,000,000).
