Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Vintage Pinball and Arcade Machine Repair Technician to join our team. As a vital member of our organization, you will be responsible for the restoration, repair, and maintenance of classic pinball and arcade machines from various eras. Your expertise will ensure these beloved gaming treasures are brought back to life, providing enthusiasts with an authentic gaming experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with vintage pinball and arcade machines, including mechanical, electrical, and electronic components.
  • Perform repairs and restoration work on vintage pinball and arcade machines to bring them to optimal operating condition.
  • Conduct routine maintenance tasks to prevent future malfunctions and ensure longevity of machines.
  • Source and procure necessary replacement parts, components, and materials for repairs and restoration projects.
  • Utilize specialized tools and equipment for disassembly, repair, and reassembly of pinball and arcade machines.
  • Test repaired machines to ensure all components are functioning correctly and games are playable.
  • Document repair processes, including parts used, repairs made, and any modifications performed.
  • Provide estimates and quotes for repair and restoration services to customers.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their preferences and requirements for customizations or special requests.
  • Stay updated on emerging trends, technologies, and techniques in vintage pinball and arcade machine repair and restoration.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in repairing and restoring vintage pinball and arcade machines,
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of electrical and electronic systems.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting complex issues in pinball and arcade machines.
  • Familiarity with schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals for various vintage machines.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and team members.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
  • Willingness to adapt to new technologies and techniques in the field of vintage pinball and arcade machine repair.

Education and Certification:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Additional technical certifications or coursework in electronics, mechanics, or related fields is a plus.
